How to rotate a PDF
Upload the PDF. It is opened by your browser only — nothing is transmitted.
Rotate all pages or one page. Use the buttons on the left, or click a page thumbnail to turn only that page.
Check the preview, then save. The thumbnails already show the final orientation, so what you see is what you get.
Why this one is different
No upload, ever. Rotating a scanned passport, a signed contract or a bank statement should not mean sending it to a stranger's server.
The rotation is written into the file, not just displayed. The saved PDF opens in the right orientation in every reader, and the pages are never re-compressed.
Free and unlimited. No sign-up, no page limit, no watermark, no daily quota.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does rotating reduce the quality of my PDF?
No. Rotation changes a single property of the page (its /Rotate value) instead of re-rendering the content, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
Can I rotate only one page?
Yes. Click the page thumbnail to select it, then use “This page left/right”, or use the small arrows that appear when you hover a thumbnail. Other pages stay untouched.
My PDF is a scan that is sideways — will this fix it?
Yes. A scanned page is just an image inside a PDF, and rotating the page turns the image too. The text layer, if any, rotates with it.
Is it safe to rotate a private document here?
Yes, and safer than on most tools: the file is never uploaded. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it will still work.
The PDF is password-protected — can I still rotate it?
Not directly: a locked file cannot be written. The page detects this and offers our Unlock PDF tool; unlock it with the password you know, and you will come straight back here with the file already loaded.
How many pages can I rotate at once?
There is no page limit. Thumbnails are drawn only when they scroll into view, so even long documents stay responsive.
Use this tool only with documents you are entitled to modify. Always open the saved file once to confirm the orientation before sending it on.
